I went out to find it this morning... but couldn't
The dawns are so dark and gloomy now that the sky just kind of lightens from every direction, but it didn't take long to find it in another way... the Eastern White Pine.
The word for the weeks Creative Cue was east. I didn't know how I was going to go about these prompts, but I think this'll work for a start and get me in the right direction (pardon the pun)... just simple journal pages that may or may not evolve into anything. Aliitle doodle drawing and most of all, the putting together of color combos.

This is great! I love pine trees and love how you've created your journal page about them. Thank you for participating in Creative Cue.
Oh I love how you've organized your journal page around the cue!
It's my favorite tree in the world and you have done right by it!
A very belated happy birthday, Jane. I hope this will be a great year for you, with lots of stitching time and time to "just be".
Love your journal, Jane. The Eastern White Pine is a favorite of mine, too. Aren't the days gray lately? We need some sun!
What a great idea to make a journal page. I love your page.
Very inspiring page! and pretty color palette too--Mother Nature is always so right!
I love what you came up with for East...I am still thinking of what to do...and the next word is heel...this won't be easy. :-)
